I’m not great with needles and I was listened to and treated with great care to minimise any discomfort. I came out of the anaesthetic quickly feeling good, in no pain and recovered fully very soon after.

Dr Pawa is the best anaesthetist I have seen after numerous surgeries. He is extremely knowledgable, he carefully explains everything and his treatment was highly effective in helping me recover quickly from surgery. He is also a pleasure to speak with and makes you feel at ease. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Pawa gave me a regional block on 27th February, 2020.
This was for surgery to my right hand and resulted in highly effective control of pain/sensation.
Dr. Pawa was supremely competent both clinically and in providing detailed information, reassurance and in putting his patient at ease.
There were no surprises at any stage during the procedure because he thoroughly briefed me as to what I might expect.
Dr. Pawa was kind, courteous and maintained enjoyable repartee throughout the surgical procedure, effectively keeping my mind off what was going on to my right!!
I would not hesitate in recommending Dr. Pawa to my family and closest friends, and would request his attentions if I were to need anaesthesia in future.

Amit is a Consultant Anaesthetist at Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK, and the Cleveland Clinic London.
He is an Ultrasound Regional Anaesthesia (USRA) enthusiast and completed the first fellowship in Regional Anaesthesia at Guy's & St Thomas'. He holds the ESRA European Diploma in Regional Anaesthesia.
At Guy's & St Thomas' he is the Lead for Regional Anaesthesia.
Amit was appointed as the first chairman of the London Society for Regional Anaesthesia (LSORA) in October 2010.
Amit was President of Regional Anaesthesia UK (RA-UK) from 2018-2021 and also sat on the council of the European Society of Regional Anaesthesia (ESRA).during this time.
He is extremely passionate about the delivery of education in USRA and teaches nationally and internationally.
He has created a series of Ultrasound Regional Anaesthesia Video tutorials on YouTube for the LSORA channel with the help of his regional fellows.
He has published on General Anaesthesia-Free Breast Surgery, and authored numerous review articles and editorials on numerous aspects of regional anaesthesia.
